Emberly was 19 weeks old yesterday!
I’m finding it harder and harder to keep track of the weeks, I usually have to look back at the week before to make sure I’m right before I do these updates…
Her second tooth broke through the gums! That makes 2 new teeth in one week, it went so quickly! Her fingers are constantly in her mouth now, making it hard to tell if she is hungry, or just feeling out her new (razor sharp) teeth. We’ve used cold teething rings, Hyland’s natural teething gel, and baby Tylenol once or twice when it seemed like she really couldn’t get any other relief. We try to use that as little as possible though because it seems to make her gassy?
She is growing so fast, I can’t even handle the cuteness of all of the rolls. It seems like I find a new one every day! This is definitely not my baby that had trouble gaining weight anymore, she is really thriving now.
Sleep is still…. lacking. We tried out the crib for a couple nights, but she woke up no less than 5 times each night. I think it was the new environment combined with teething. So we’re back in the co-sleeper for now and we’ll try again when we’re sure that she isn’t teething.
Family pictures… at least we tried!

Teeth!
Emberly grabbed my finger this morning so that she could chew on it, and “Ouch!”
I looked in her mouth and her bottom left tooth is poking through… what? I didn’t even know that she was teething! From the looks of it, her bottom right tooth isn’t far behind either. I know that every baby is different, but approximately how long does it take for the tooth to grow in after they break through the gums?
O hai!
These two make my heart melt
I don’t know how I’ve been so blessed, but I’ll never ever take it for granted
